Ryan has worked in the Financial Services Industry for 18 years.  Originally starting as a teller at a leading bank, he went on to become a branch manager, spent years as a Mobile Mortgage Manager and most recently as the Regional Manager for a leading bank. 

​Ryan’s passion is people.  He loves leading people to deliver first class service to customers and says his greatest satisfaction is knowing that he has been a part of helping people achieve their dreams.  Ryan has multiple banking qualifications and a degree but he would be the first to say, that life experience and a genuine care for people is all that counts.

​Tara has worked in the Financial Services Industry for 20 years.  Tara is a qualified Financial Planner by trade who went on to lead financial planning teams, training departments and distribution businesses within the banking and insurance industry. 

​Tara is passionate about helping people.  To her the customer is the most important person in the relationship and she runs the operational side of ‘The Lending Pad’ with the customer’s needs always at the forefront of her mind.  She has multiple degrees and vast experience within this industry.  Ethics and integrity are Tara’s key values and every decision made around the business, always comes back to this.

Derek has 10 years in banking working at some of the major banks.  He has gained a broad base of experience and skills in the lending market.  He has worked and lived in the Auckland over this time, and has a deep understanding of the Auckland market and the challenges within it, from both a lending and property perspective.

Customer service and professionalism is key to Derek.  He prides himself on providing great service and professional advice and wants to work with his clients on a long term basis.  Derek says ‘it’s all about relationship and service’ and he is a great asset to the ‘Lending Pad’ team.

Outside of work Derek likes to keep active, playing basketball and also doing running events for charity including the SkyTower Stairs Challenge where he fundraised for the Leukemia Blood Cancer Foundation.  He is an honest, hard working family man who genuinely cares about the needs of his clients.

​Cheryl is originally from China and has been in New Zealand for 16 years.  A substantial proportion of her career is in Financial Services working for a major bank in New Zealand for the last seven years.  Cheryl has extensive lending experience with a great reputation in excelling for her customers.  Cheryl is passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals and will always go the extra mile for her customers.  She has the New Zealand Mortgage Advice qualification accompanied with a wealth of experience.
 
Cheryl is based in East Auckland but travels throughout Auckland and beyond to see customers.  She loves her family, to travel and to meet new people.

Passionate about building strong and long-lasting relationships with clients. Annemarie is a versatile banker who has worked with a major bank for over 20 years, holding various roles ranging from customer services through to advisory positions before joining Private Bank. Annemarie is very experienced, with a sound understanding of banking principals and dealing with complex structures.

Originally from Malaysia, her family moved to New Zealand over 30 years ago. Annemarie’s personal life is centred around her family, including her husband Garry and two young children.

Ed Lund, Financial Advisor

Ed has been helping clients attain their financial goals for over 14 years. Ed’s background is primarily in Banking, having worked for a major and nationally owned Bank. He also gained further experience working for a finance company. Ed’s career has been primarily customer facing roles and leadership.

Ed’s career to date has given him a wealth of financial knowledge, particularly in the lending space. As a result, Ed can help his clients with all aspects of lending. This includes first home buyers through to clients with complex lending needs, by looking at a broad range of lending solutions.

Helping his clients and creating long lasting relationships is what drives Ed and he also has a passion for finance. Ed has a down to earth approach when dealing with clients providing on-going support throughout the entire process.  Ed helps his clients not just with their current needs but also helps them focus on their future goals and ensures this is always taken into consideration.

Originally from Italy, Ed has lived in New Zealand for 16 years. Ed’s is a keen ‘boatie’ and guitar player, with a love for soccer and spending time with his family.
